Best museum application ever! Very helpful and easy to use!

This is an amazing app. It has what is needed to get around the museum. Can you please add the museum hours info on the app?

Good app to know about New York City Museum.

This app enhanced the museum experience for my 12 year old son very much. If you are going to the museum with kids who are surrounded by technology, this will keep them engaged in the diverse exhibits.

Saw a sign at the museum promoting the app and got excited and downloaded it immediately. Between the atrocious museum wifi and the total lack of an AT&T signal within the building I found this app tremendously disappointing & worthless in practice. The standard paper map was a million times faster for navigating by.

Navigation clearly needs work! Example: locator (used museum wifi) shows on the map that I am on one side of the building, however, the directions to the place (on the same floor!) I want to get to are starting from a hall thats on the opposite side!

I could mot use the tour feature or the maps. The app was unable to locate me.

I didnt have a phone signal and the museum wifi was at best spotty, making this app useless.

Totally useless. Even with the amnh wifi on, it could never find my location.

I tried to us the app today but it could never find my location. On top of that, the info on the exhibits was out of date. An exhibit that I found in the app was no longer at the museum. As a Cisco employee, I was disappointed to find out that the location service used Cisco technology that did not work.

Useless app

The app was able to find my location easily (on a 4th gen iPod touch), but it was missing a lot of information about exhibits. For instance, the only primate in the app is the Capuchin. That doesnt help me learn about orangutans. Also, the treasure hunt section is awesome, but there needs to be more. Its a lot of fun to search for dinosaurs and learn about them

Very disappointed in this app. It never located my position in the museum and the exhibits were out of date

I love this museum, but this app is useless. I couldnt find any of the exhibits that I wanted to visit via the search or index. The museum hours werent included. It could never find my location. It didnt have many of the halls listed by name.

Content needs to be updated. Needs retina support. Needs iPhone 5 support.

Tried using this app yesterday at the museum. My phone didnt have service in most of the museum, however, and the app needs wifi or data plan activity to work. So Im not sure what the use of this app is.

I found this app to be completely useless while exploring the museum yesterday. Trying to use the app to find specific exhibits failed every time. First it couldnt "find" where I was in the museum (even though other apps could), so it tried to direct me from the front entrance. Not very useful. The maps also look nothing like the printed maps the museum hands out, so I couldnt even manage to compare the maps to figure out where I was/where I was trying to go.

The updated version is amazing. The interface and responsiveness makes navigating the Museum easy and the tours are great!

Great app if I wasnt trying to use the GPS feature to help me figure out how to get places. Problem was it couldnt find me anywhere I tried it. LTE, 3G, top floor, bottom floor... didnt make a difference. Verizon issue maybe? Dunno. But it is pretty nifty otherwise. Would have gotten five stars if it worked. (And yes location settings were on)
